Behind the Brand

Diamond G Contracting isn’t new to the game — our roots run deep with over 40 years of experience in the construction industry.

Owners Mike and Kim Grashuis founded Diamond G Construction in 2008, serving Northern Nevada and Northern California. Mike is a third-generation general contractor who has built his career on quality workmanship and trusted relationships. Over the years, Diamond G has completed numerous Public Works projects for entities such as the City of Reno, City of Sparks, Town of Truckee, and the State of Nevada.

Our background includes commercial remodels, tenant improvements, metal buildings, office parks, and storage unit construction, using delivery methods like design/bid/build, design-assist, and construction management to meet each client’s needs.

In 2022, our family relocated to Wickenburg, Arizona. As 5th generation Arizonans, returning to Arizona was more than a move — it was coming home. We brought with us the same commitment to quality craftsmanship, integrity, and hard work that Diamond G was built on.

As a rodeo and team roping family, our oldest son Brock trains rope horses on our custom-built facility featuring a full-sized arena, cattle pens, covered horse pens, barn, and hay barn — all designed and constructed by us.

At Diamond G, honesty, integrity, reliability, and hard work guide everything we do. Kim manages the administrative and operational side of the business, while Mike leads the team in the field, ensuring every project meets our high standards. Our younger sons, Brayden and Brody, play hands-on, integral roles in daily operations — assisting in the field, learning every phase of the build, moving materials, supporting crews, and gaining real-world experience that keeps projects running smoothly and on schedule. Their involvement reflects our belief in teaching the trade through hard work, responsibility, and leading by example.
